How does the door seal work?
The door seal acts as a seal between the drum and the outer shell of the washing machine. Water is prevented from leaking when the washing and spinning cycles are in progress by the door's tight seal when it is closed.
It traps the water inside the machine, preserving its efficiency and protecting your laundry space from possible water damage.

Good product
Very good seal and fire perfectly compared to the Bosch original. However putting the springs on to hold it in place is incredibly difficult, you have to use a hook to stretch the spring hard enough to get it on.

Can’t fault the quality and price. Relatively easy to fit
Difficult to see why the Bosch seal should be some three times the cost when you compare the quality of both seals.

This product was great value compared to those available on other websites. It was of a good quality, however fitting it was quite difficult but that was a Bosch design issue rather than the fault of the door seal.
