When the washing machine drum spins, the shock absorber prevents it from shaking too much. Also keeps the drum from shifting or rolling while in use.
Increased vibrations, excessive noise, or wobbling during the spin cycle may indicate a faulty shock absorber. Replace it with this part if you notice these issues.

Quiet Washing Again
Replaced all 3 shock absorbers in my Bosch washing machine because it was jumping about a lot and there seemed to be excessive drum movement. With the unit resting on its back, it was not difficult to access the shock absorbers, and they unbolted quite easily. The purchased items looked the same as the old ones, and they fitted with no problems. I found when the old shock absorbers were extended to their normal resting length they had no resistance to being pushed in and out over a short range -- obviously they were worn. So, as hoped, the new shock absorbers made a massive difference. There is now some resistance if you try to move the drum at rest, and - more importantly - the spin is now silky smooth! Would have done this earlier if I had known.

Really quick and easy to replace, didn't notice any perceptible damping difference when comparing old to new, but after fitting no more vibrations during spin cycle.

East to fit.
I just had to lay the washing machine on its back to get access to the shock absorbers. Unfortunately fitting new ones made a small improvement but did not solve the problem so I now have to order some springs.

The washing machine has 3 of these Suspension Dampers, I would like to order all 3, what is your returns policy if I do not need to use al of them?

Hi Byron, if you don't require all three, you can submit a returns enquiry and send the unwanted parts back for a refund. They would need to be unused and in their original packaging.
