How does the drain pump fluff filter work for the washing machine?
The drain pump fluff filter captures and collects lint, small fibres, and other debris that may be present in the laundry water. The water drains out of the machine during the wash cycle and passes through the drain pump fluff filter.
The filter's mesh or screen design allows water to flow through while trapping and retaining any lint or debris.
What compromises the drain pump filter?
The accumulation of lint and debris clog the filter over time. If the filter is not regularly cleaned or maintained, it becomes obstructed and leads to poor water drainage and washing machine performance.
The filter itself becomes damaged or worn out and results in gaps or tears in the mesh. This can allow larger debris to bypass the filter and cause blockages further downstream in the drain system.

Although there were a few sites listing this product, ransom was the only one with a comprehensive machine compatibility checker. Just the job - nice to fix rather than throw away
This original broke as it had a piece of metal wedged in it so snapped - so delighted to find a replacement part - had to hund around for best price which was Ransom Spares so thanks - quick delivery in fact mnuch much quicker than a Bosch Engineer waiting 2 weeks now for a part I could order here and get tomorrow!!!
