I couldn't unscrew the filter on my quite old Siemens WXLM168AGB/10 as foreign objects were jamming it. As it was awkward to pull out the machine and get at the underneath, I drilled out the front of the filter (dead easy, drilled a circle of holes and broke the middle away with pliers) and used long-nosed pliers to fish out 3 metal collar stiffeners and 3 coins (I hadn't cleaned the filter in a long time!). It was then easy to unscrew the filter and replace it with this one. The old filter was a single moulding which foreign objects could jam. The replacement has a screw cap which rotates independently of the body, so foreign objects cannot prevent unscrewing. It also looks generally more robust than the original.

Good value for money. Easy to fit, and very good service.

Bought this to replace one that I'd broken when trying to remove it. The original was completely furred up and the brittle plastic had given way. This part must be an upgrade as (a) this has a black cap and the original was all white, and (b) the cap is separate and made from tougher plastic. Took 4 days to descale the original, and then the replacement fitted like a glove.

No major problems. Almost direct replacement, slightly shorter but workable. Decided to swap washer over and use original instead, only needed a new washer. Pity you don't sell just the washer. Gave 4 stars because it was not exact direct replacement.

Just received this part for the Bosch Classixx Express 1200S since Ive had this washing machine for a while as i got it second hand the plastic snapped on the old filter which was caused water to flood the floor. So ordered the part from RansomSpares and to my surprise it worked like a dream at first i thought it didn't fit since it was a tad smaller in height comparing it to the old one. Now i can get back to washing my clothes Thanks Again Life Saver. Will order again next time im in need of Spares.
