General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your washing machine.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains before you start.
This is a genuine drain pump and filter.
It holds the lint filter in place, which catches dirt, stray fibres, and small objects before they can reach the drain pump. This helps protect the pump, reduces the risk of blockages, and ensures water drains properly during each cycle.
If your clothes are coming out wetter than usual, the cycle isn’t finishing, or you're noticing slow drainage, a damaged or clogged filter housing could be the culprit. Replace it with this part.
This washing machine drain pump and filter is from Bosch. Also fits Balay, Constructa, Cylinda, Neff, Pitsos, Profilo, Siemens, and Smeg models.

Amazing, this is the 2nd time I have used this company. The ease of finding exactly what I wanted to the speed at which it was delivered was amazing. If needed I will definitely use this company again.
Perfect match for the original pump in my Bosch machine. Couldn’t have been easier to fit really, pretty straightforward for anyone who knows which end of a (torx) screwdriver to hold! Only struggle I had was replacing the door seal ring - recommend getting the proper spring expanding tool for that, and really pleased I got my hands on a tool to compress the pipe seals - really made that easier (than last time when I replaced the pump on our previous machine). All in all perfect fit so no issues with the part, but Ransom were considerably cheaper than anywhere else so used the saving to buy the right tools - well, one of them anyway!
Paid and got next day delivery. Simple to fit and it was a good price for a genuine part .
