Before shelling out the high cost (where-ever you buy this part) I googled the alternative options to death before (rightly in retrospect) establishing that this part is near impossible to disassemble to repair and when doing so, the motors are shot and cannot be sourced to replace. An unfortunate Bosch design issue as many people have had problems with this complex dosing issue after a few years. I fitted this and instantly the problem with the dosing (washing liquid and fabric softener) was fixed. I then sawed open the old parts and they were indeed beyond repair. It's expensive but a new machine is £1k and I do like things to work as they should! I do prefer to go to Ransome's for various parts as they have never let me down, are helpful with queries and are as good or better on price.
