Genuine door seal gasket for your washer door.
It sits between the washing machine's drum and outer housing, forming a snug seal to prevent soap or water leaks during washing and spinning. Also prevents metal-on-metal contact since it acts as a buffer between the washing machine frame and the door.
Your door seal rubber gasket needs to be changed if it shows visible signs of wear, such as cracks, tears, or mould growth. Change it with this replacement part.

Good product, improvement on original
This door seal is identical to the one that came on the machine, but the wire band to secure it is much improved. Rather than a spring, it has a screw, which makes it much easier to fit.

Great Value!
Product is perfect fit although a challenge to fit if you're a DIY-er. There's a clamp to attach the hose part to the washing machine and not a lot of space to work inside the machine but got there eventually. Washing machine has since been used several times and no leaks and part seems to be standing up well. Ransomes had a great price in comparison to others and part was received on time. Would recommend the product and Ransomes.

Great product, ideally needs 2 people to fit
This was bought to replace the original part which had gone mouldy from an integrated washing machine. The hardest part of the job was to take the front off the integrated washing machine. Removing the old seal was straightforward and installing the new seal was easy until the new springs had to be fitted. This really needed an extra pair of hands. The new seal is great and no more smells!

Despatched and delivered very quickly. Was easy to change, having watched the video. Seal was identical to the original and was of good quality. Was a bit pricey though. Unfortionately, having changed it, the drum was still rubbing on the edge of the seal and it turned out the "Spider" on the back of the drum had cracked. At £192 for the drum and £63 for bearings it wasn't economic to repair it. You can't win them all!
