Fast service and great product
When my AEG Washer/Dryer started making a horrible whirring noise on the drying cycle, I thought it was time for a new machine. After a little bit of research on the internet, I not only understood what was making the noise, but had found several guides on how to replace the ventilator fan and had sourced the correct part from Ransom Spares. I ordered it from Ransom Spares that afternoon and it arrived the next morning - fantastic service. The replacement part was obviously of high quality - in fact it looked and felt better than the original. I fitted it within the morning and the machine is now back up and running, with no more whirring, ready for several more years service. I won't hesitate to go back to Ransom Spares the next time I need a part and won't need to bother searching around as I'm confident they'll offer the right, quality, part, at a good price and with fast, efficient service. Product good, Packing AWFUL
Fortunately the fact that this part arrived undamaged was a miracle as it was in a flimsy box with no padding whatsoever. The box was battered and the outline of the pulley could be seen impressed into the cardboard. How the pulley was not broken or distorted is very difficult to understand. I reported my reservations about the insufficient packing to Ransom Spares on their helpline so they could sort out their packing and dispatching department but I have had no acknowledgement. Fortunately the part was easy to fit and is working perfectly.

5 stars for ransom, low stars for quality and price but ransom didnt make the product not really set the price. Ransom 5 stars always.
