Ideal replacement

We'd been told this washing machine couldn't be fixed because even the manufacturer had not seen the error code before! They wanted £180 just to come and assess it so we thought we'd nothing to lose trying to find the problem. We narrowed it down to the heater - the machine worked perfectly so long as it did a cold wash (very good for the environment!) and ordered the part online for £17.95. The only downside I'd say was that it seemed the item was in stock and available for next day delivery but, as we live close by, we thought the quickest way would be to pick it up. It took 10 days to be ready for collection so, on reflection, it may have been better/quicker to have it delivered direct. For another time, I think I'd send a mail asking about that but otherwise - perfection!
