Genuine door seal gasket for your washer door. Made of rubber.
It sits between the washing machine's drum and outer housing, forming a snug seal to prevent soap or water leaks during washing and spinning. Also prevents metal-on-metal contact since it acts as a buffer between the washing machine frame and the door.
Your door seal rubber gasket needs to be changed if it shows visible signs of wear, such as cracks, tears, or mould growth. Change it with this replacement part.

Door seal for AEG Washing Machine
The door seal was received quickly and was exactly what was required. Unfortunately once the machine was checked over fully other larger problems were found and this made it uneconomical to fix. In the circumstances the Seal has been returned for a refund as it was not be required. The service from Ransom Spares has been excellent with very prompt e-mail replies. I will have no hesitation in using Ransom for any other electrical spare part that I may require in the future. NB The ease of fitting star rating has been made taking into account that essentially there is quite a bit of dismantling required for any washing machine door seal replacement and although in this case the seal was not fitted I know from previous experience that refitting is not too onerous a job.
