If your door lock is making a slow steady click/click/click sound it's likely that the door lock neds to be swapped out. You will need to remove the white plastic cover before installing, otherwise it's a straightforward job. Part ordered Saturday evening, arrived first thing Tuesday - best price and service.

Excellent component, easy fix
Our AEG washing matching frequently gave an alarm (door interlock failure) and refused to wash, very frustrating when there is washing to do. The new door lock from Ransom Spares was a really easy fit without having to move the machine, just ease the seal and remove two screws to remove the failing lock. Slide on the connector, replace the screws, ease the seal back into place and now we have a washing machine that washes. Great result in the time it took to write this recommendation.

Easiest thing to fit in the world!
This is probably the easiest thing to fit in the world! after being accused of breaking my washing machine by my other half I took it upon myself to prove him wrong. took me 5 minutes to fix the new part and now I finally have clean washing once more. I think he is still in shock that I....a girl can fix this sort of thing with the help of youtube!

Very easy to fit
Unfortunately, the part did not cure the problem but as far as I can tell (I have no test equipment) that's a diagnostic fault of mine and not a problem with the bit itself so I can't comment on the quality. I was inmpressed with Ransom as to price and swift delivery

Direct replacement, easy to fit
Only guessed the interlock had failed on my machine, searched online for a replacement Ransomspares were the cheapest and have the local pick up option. Polite knowledgable staff delivering a perfect service and the part fixed my issue. I’ll definitely use this service again A*
