This is a universal floor tool replacement for your vacuum cleaner.
Fits most vacuums with a simple screw adjustment (30–37mm). The wide 270mm head covers more ground fast, while brush retractor levers let you switch easily between carpets and hard floors like tile or laminate.
Hair, threads, and fibres can clog the tool over time, reducing suction and cleaning power. Worn-out bristles are another sign it’s time for a swap. Replace it with this part.

Wobbly fit
A good product for the price, but on my plastic vacuum tube, it slides and wobbles around a little, despite being fully tightened.

Effective and economical replacement for a branded part
I needed a replacement brush for my Hoover vacuum cleaner. The Hoover product was quite expensive yet this universal replacement, although not a Hoover product, did the job perfectly. In fact I thought it performed better than the original part. Once again Ranomes have saved me money. Previously I purchased replacement heating elements for my cooker from them and saved myself over £400, not having to buy a new cooker. And previous still a small spring costing about £6 enabled me to repair my dishwasher soap dispensr door, saving the cost of a new dishwasher. Older products can be kept in service when spares are available!

Brought vacuum back to life
Bought for a Zanussi vacuum where the Zanussi part was was unavailable. Fitted easily on to the 32mm tubing using the adjustable screw-on connector. Fitted tightly. The tool can quickly be changed between brush and no brush settings. Quite light in weight so needs a bit of downwards pressure on the tubing to get maximum cleaning. Very good value.

Hi Mary, this floor tool fits extension tubes between 30 and 37mm wide. You would need to measure the diameter of yours to see if this would be suitable.

My existing tube is 32mm dia and fits inside the entry to my old tool. Will my tube fit over the universal tool entry or inside it?.

Hi Paul, your tube would push inside the entry to the tool and is tightened using the screw neck on the floor tool.
