New cable for Henry
Our elderly Henry vacuum cleaner was intermittently cutting out and the cable was visibly damaged. I reckoned on the cable being the culprit and visited the Ransom Spares website. A video there explained how to replace the cable which I ordered from the website. Good price and it arrived a couple of working days later. No difficulties encountered fitting the new cable and Henry is back to full health.

Great product, cheap
Quick delivery cheap replacement. Just followed a online video of fitting it on my henry did take half hour but I am not the best in DIY. Fitted it and worked got for a fraction of the price of some suppliers. Used ransom spares twice now would highly recommend!

It's a plug & cable...
Good item, sealed plug and cable. Does not have a cable grip either built in to the plug or as a clip on the cable. Also it does not have a rubber or plastic gaiter at the machine end so if your replacing the cable because your gaiter is broken - this won't do it. Otherwise what can I say - it's a cable with a plug.

Can you advise where to buy the screw drivers needed to undo my Henry to replace a new lead , and what is the said screw driver actually called please await an answer thank you

Hi Yvonne, the type of screw driver required to replace the power cable in the Henry Hoover is a standard sized philips screwdriver. It would be easier to use one which has a longer handle due to the screw being located quite deep into the casing.
