This is a genuine replacement switch for your vacuum cleaner.
Controls the vacuum’s power supply. Easily turn the machine on and off during operation. Just press it to start the machine.

Found the exact spare for my old Henry Hoover and replaced with no problems at all and i only have basic knowledge of electrics , but just doing it slowly and one connection at a time very easy. Did look at some similar,cheaper, alternatives on some major named selling sites but doubt they would have fitted exactly Worth paying the extra few pounds and good delivery
Looked at the website to establish part, ordered, and easily replaced.
Bought a "compatible" one initially a few quid cheaper of one of the "big sites", however, the lugs on the spade connectors were not flush with the bottom of the switch and as a result the switch wouldn't sit low enough to operate when the red button was pressed. This one fitted perfectly and we have a working Henry again.
My years old Henry Hoover made a strange noise, gave off a weird burning smell & then stopped working. The 'on-off' switch had broken. I found the 'how to' video very helpful & it gave me the confidence to attempt a repair myself. The part was easy to find on the web site & it was delivered, well packaged, within a few days. The repair was straight forward - there's nothing complicated on Henry! Now my Henry is good to go on for a load more years! Recommend Random Spares & this part.

why doesn't the video show how to replace the push button on off switch? I have a 2003 HVR 200 and cannot find any instructions on how to do this or even on how to take it apart. Can you help? Thanks
Hi Barbara, you'll need to take the top off the Henry and remove the screws until you can see the switch. pull the wires off the old switch, making sure you check what terminals go to the switch because you'll need to put them on the same ones. Make sure the Henry is unplugged before undertaking any work.
My henry works only when I press on / off switch. I've took it apart and the switch doesn't stay in on position [clicked in, for lack of a better word]. Is this the reason and a brand new switch just clicks and stays in place?
Hi Sebastian, These Numatic switches should latch and hold in place when pressed. If yours is failing to do so, I'd recommend replacing it and hopefully this will fix the issue.
