What does a vacuum hose do in a vacuum cleaner?

A vacuum hose serves as the conduit through which dirt, dust, and debris are suctioned from the cleaning surface and transported into the vacuum's collection bag or canister. It connects the cleaning head or attachment to the main body of the vacuum cleaner.
