Heats the drying air and uses the thermostats to hold it at a safe temperature.

General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your tumble dryer.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains and let it cool before you start.
This is a genuine tumble dryer heater element. Has wires to connect it to your dryer’s control system.
The heater element produces the heat circulated in the drying chamber. This heat evaporates moisture from your damp laundry including shirts, towels, and other items inside the dryer.
If the heating element isn't working properly, the dryer will still spin and the cycle will complete, but it won't get hot enough to help dry the clothes. Change it with this replacement part.
This heater element is from Zanussi but also fits select models of AEG, Electrolux, and John Lewis tumble dryers.
Before ordering, please verify that this part is suitable for your model using our compatibility checker.
The website was very easy to use and to check the compatibility with my appliance. Easy check out and quick delivery. I will definitely be using this site for spares inn the future.
Hi does this heater unit come with heater thermostats , or can they be bought separately,if so at what cost Mod zte7100pz Type p541693 Prod no 91609338801 Thanks. Thanks
Hi Darren, the thermostats for your model are only available with this heating element.
The Tumble dryer keeps on tripping the circuit breaker at the consumer unit and it's a vented tumbler. What is the problem?
Hi David, I'm afraid we cannot diagnose faults. I'd recommend contacting an engineer for advice.
Hi my model number isn't exactly the same as listed, its ZDE 47209W, will this part still fit, the heater element looks to have two thermostats fixed to it, ie, non replaceable. I assume the hot one has failed since the dryer no longer heats. Many thanks for your help.
Hi Steve, I can confirm this is the correct heating element for your model.
One of the thermostats has stopped working on my drier: are the thermostats on this unit replaceable and can you supply them, or do I have to buy the whole heater element unit? Thanks,
Hi Chris, to confirm if the thermostats come separately we will need the full model number and can be found inside the door of the appliance. Please send this to us via our part type enquiry form.
