Transfers power from the engine to the drum. Also rotates it and then spins the damp clothes inside when the motor turns as rotational energy is transferred to it.
If you notice a loud squealing or screeching noise during the wash or spin cycle, it could indicate a worn-out belt. When the drum or agitator is not spinning or agitating properly, or if it's rotating inconsistently or sluggishly, it could be a failing belt. Change it with this replacement belt.
