What does a dryer vent hose do?
A dryer vent hose expels hot, moist air and lint generated during the drying process to the outside environment. The vent hose connects the dryer to a vent opening on an exterior wall or roof, allowing the air and lint to be safely discharged.
Venting the hot air helps prevent excessive heat buildup in the dryer and reduces the risk of fire hazards.
When does it get damaged?
Improper installation and bends in the hose restrict airflow and lead to lint buildup or overheating. Over time, the hose deteriorates due to heat exposure, moisture, or ageing, resulting in cracks, holes, or weakened connections.
Blockages caused by accumulated lint, debris, or even small animals impede airflow and cause the hose to become damaged.

Went for longer hose this time, because it needed to go through the window. It was much better, no problem with it falling out into the room and dust going everywhere. Good quality and very very easy to fit.

Excellent and great value for money
Great product and very affordable. I thought that I would need to pay through the nose for a part, but this was of excellent quality and was great value for money. It also doesnt get pushed out by the air flow/pressure when fitted properly.
