General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your tumble dryer.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains and let it cool before you start.
This is a high quality tumble dryer heater element powered at 2300W. It’s at the back of your dryer’s housing. With wiring harnesses each to connect to your dryer’s control system.
The heater element produces the heat circulated in the drying chamber. This heat evaporates moisture from your damp laundry including shirts, towels, and other items inside the dryer.
If the heating element isn't working properly, the dryer will still spin and the cycle will complete, but it won't get hot enough to help dry the clothes. Change it with this replacement part.
This heater element fits select models of Ariston, Creda, Export, Hotpoint, Indesit, Proline, and Swan tumble dryers.
