This is a genuine 2300W tumble dryer heater element. It’s at the back of your dryer’s housing.
The heater element produces the heat circulated in the drying chamber. This heat evaporates moisture from your damp laundry including shirts, towels, and other items inside the dryer.
Has wiring harnesses to connect to your dryer’s control system.

Exactly what I needed
I ordered this replacement part for my IDC85 Indesit tumble dryer. Some water had leaked into the old part and my dryer was tripping all of the power in my home. This part was a little tricky to replace but now it is in my dryer is working perfectly again

upgraded product ,very easy to fit
although only one of the heater stats had failed i thought best to replace complete heater unit.not a great fan of hotpoint and this tumble dryer was one modified by them(fires etc)so particulary wary.good fast service again

Just what I needed
As a family of 5, including 3 children under 10, a tumble dryer is essential! Ours had stopped heating up so we bought this to replace the broken heating element. The part was very easy to fit, tumble dryer was back up and running again in no time. The kids are happy they can continue changing their outfits 1683 times a day!

Ordered this bit as old elements were broken & no heat in the dryer the connecting plug was easy to change as the older model is a different fitting ( do one wire at a time ) although after there was still no heat this was down to the front thermostat gone too ordered this from ransoms arrived quickly dryer up & running again 😃

Indesit condenser fixed
Ordered this when the Indesit dryer stopped working. This had happened before with the thermostat on the back, which you just reset. However, when I took the back off it became clear the elements were totally shot - new part. It arrived quickly and I set to work. I got so far then cursed as the connector seemed wrong. Wife to the rescue - she spotted the instructins which I had missed - just had to use the old connector on the new wires. After that it was a breeze. Lesson learned: Read the instructions that come with these pieces. Also, I found a good vid on youtube which explained how to get the side off the dryer. Easy! Cheers and thanks R

Hi Andrew, this heater comes with both of the thermostats that are joined to the heater.
