Heater elements and thermostats disperse heat in your tumble dryer
When a tumble dryer's heater element converts electrical energy into heat, it radiates throughout the dryer drum. This coil or wire heats up as electricity passes through it, and dryer thermostats regulate the temperature by monitoring the heat from the heating element to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Why do you need to change it?
A malfunctioning heating element can result in inadequate heat production or no heat at all, and have inefficient drying and longer drying times. Similarly, the thermostats need replacement if they fail to regulate the temperature accurately.
When the dryer overheats or underheats, it can damage clothes or cause poor drying performance.
