Genuine tumble dryer front seal made of felt. This gives a smooth surface to your tumble dryer's front lip. Also keeps the drum's position firmly in place and prevents friction for the moving components when they come in contact.
The tumble dryer's plastic drum support deteriorates without the buffer of the seal. This increases resistance with the metal to metal contact. The motor strains more and it might break down, compromising your washing machine.
This front seal is from Hotpoint. Also works on Indesit and Swan tumble dryers.
