Did the trick, cheaper than previously purchased.
I bought one of these a few years ago and paid double the price, so this was pretty good value. Fixed the issue, although haven't tested it thoroughly. Took an absolute age to arrive, but worth it. I've ordered another as a spare, as they don't seem to be the most resilient of parts. At this price, worth having a spare in the drawer. Easy to fit, although I'd dismantled the dryer in order to give it a thorough clean and test various components. If I was just fitting this, it would have been a lot quicker and easier; just remove the top cover, unscrew the front fascia, unplug the old one, and plug this one in.
