General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your tumble dryer.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains and let it cool before you start.
This is a genuine tumble dryer heater element. It’s at the back of your dryer’s housing. Has 3 wires in a harness so you can connect it to your dryer’s control system.
The heater element produces the heat circulated in the drying chamber. This heat evaporates moisture from your damp laundry including shirts, towels, and other items inside the dryer.
Although the dryer will continue to spin and finish the cycle, it’s not hot enough to help in drying your clothes if the heating element isn't functioning properly. Replace it with this new heater element.
This heater element is from Hoover but also fits select models of Candy and Maytag tumble dryers.

The dryer stopped working properly, rather than throwing it way - ordered HOOVER TUMBLE DRYER HEATER ELEMENT 3 WIRES from Ransoms Spares. Checked compatibility with model number, nearly ordered the wrong part so good reassurance. Keenly priced and quick delivery. Installed as soon as it arrived and all working again - Thanks. We do buy a lot of spares from this company rather than other spares companies, who know who!
I had an error E15 on my Hoover dryer. It was working fine but no hot air. This part was quite easy to fit and now works perfectly. Great replacement part and value for money as it saves having to buy a new dryer.
This was a breeze to identify and order from RansomSpares. Fitting was extremely easy and I no longer need to buy a complete new appliance.
Easily fitted and working better than before. Arrived before scheduled date which is excellent overall 5 ⭐
