Description
Genuine 1900 mm rubber belt for your tumble dryer. It's strong against the tension and friction generated when the dryer is on.
It's the part of your tumble dryer that transfers power from the engine to the drum. Also rotates it and then spins the damp clothes inside when the motor turns as rotational energy is transferred to it.

Fitting Tumble Dryer Belt
Ordered the spare tumble dryer belt on next day delivery but very disappointed as the courier took almost 3 days to deliver because it is was held up in its distribution hub. Nevertheless, the belt was fitted the next day after delivery. The Ransom Spares fitting video was extremely helpful, however I would urge everyone to remove the drum as shown (unfortunately I did not !) as it makes the removing the fan cover much easier. In addition as noted on another review it is important not to let the front and back panels to move too far apart as the condenser unit will come adrift which it did for me and I can confirm it is quite difficult to refit ! Otherwise everything was fine. The learning is to follow the excellent Ransom Spares video exactly ! My other comment is to use this opportunity to give everything a good clean out to remove the lint. Overall, well done Ransom Spares !!

Good quality - DIY Installation, but beware!
This belt is obviously a genuine part, and should be easy to fit, However, I have a condenser dryer. The installation video is for a vented dryer, and the condenser gets in the way of fitting the belt. When fitting, be extra careful only to allow the front and rear panels to part just enough to allow the belt to go around the drum. 2 people will be needed for this. If the front and rear panels fall far enough apart, the condenser housing comes apart and is a sod to get back together. When all is said and done, Ransom spares to the rescue once again.

This belt is a good quality item. I am a qualified fitter, and would buy this again. Belts for the dryers are not easy to fit, but as I was doing a full service with bearing change it was not much extra work. Best value belt and I shopped around.
