The old valve was not sealing properly, and the tumble dryer appeared to be leaking water from the condenser in the door. The new valve was an exact match, and a great deal more cost effective than a new tumble dryer. It was relatively easy to fit, although you would need to have some reasonable technical ability before dismantling the door. Good value.
