This is a genuine H5 polyvee belt, measuring 1951 mm long. It withstands the tension and friction generated when the dryer is on.
Transfers power from the engine to the drum. Also rotates it and then spins the damp clothes inside when the motor turns as rotational energy is transferred to it.
