This is a genuine felt/sponge door seal for your tumble dryer.
Creates a tight seal around the dryer door, preventing heat and moisture from escaping during drying.
Look for signs of damage such as fraying, cracks, or gaps in the seal, which can cause air leaks and reduce drying efficiency. Change it with this replacement part.
This door seal for your tumble dryer is from Creda. It also fits Ariston, Crusader, Electra, Export, Hotpoint, Indesit, Parnall, Swan, and Thorn tumble dryers.

The door seal was easy to fit and has done the job and while it was cheaper on Ransom's website I thought it was a little expensive for what it was
Until the fluff started landing on the kitchen surfaces and clinging to the wall around the area where my 20 year plus small Creda tumble drier is sited I had not realised that the felt sponge had completely disintegrated causing a loose fit of the door. The door filter was fine no - holes, and the hose was relatively new so by process of elimination it had to be the felt sponge seal that needed replacing. It took a while prising the sticky residue of the old felt sponge off with a blunt knife/old credit card. I needed a second person to help me attach it to the inside so it was expertly placed. I'm pleased to say the tumble drier is back to its old self with no more flying fluff. The price of this item is very high for what it is but it does the job.
Seemed quite expensive for what looked like a piece of draught excluder on opening the packet. However replacing the seal seems to have solved the problem of my 20 year old tumble drier coating the kitchen with a layer of dust so have to give it a 5 star rating overall...! Just make sure you remove the old seal completely and I found a small kitchen knife was the best method.
