Machine completely dead
My Hoover tumble dryer showed no life at all. Supply was good with no blown fuses, but no lights or any response at all. Usually suppressor or control board causes this. The board was receiving 230v so I assumed the suppressor was ok. I didn’t know the difference between a programmed and non programmed board and nearly bought the wrong one. Turns out non programmed is generic to a number of manufacturers and has to be programmed by the installing engineer using a laptop. I replaced the board with this programmed board and the machine is now working fine again.

replaced the programmed pcb dryer worked straight away with no problem, do hope that it keeps working as dryer is less than two years old and has packed up already, good item
