What is a fluff filter in a tumble dryer?
Lint, fibres, and other particles that are emitted from clothing while drying are captured by a fluff filter in a tumble dryer. It helps prevent recirculation of these debris into the dryer drum or the clogging of the ventilation system.
What happens if you don't change the lint filter?
Lint buildup can reduce ventilation and airflow within the dryer and make it work less effectively in drying clothes.
Always clean your lint filter to avoid a fire hazard. Lint turns into tinder and, when combined with overheating, can start a fire.
