General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your tumble dryer.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains and let it cool before you start.
The clothes are dried using the heat generated by the tumble dryer's heater components, which consist of a thermostat and an electrical resistance device used to control the temperature.
When the dryer is turned on, the heater element receives electrical electricity. As the current passes through the wire, it encounters resistance, causing the wire to heat up. The heated air produced in the process is then used to dry the clothing.
Heating and cooling processes, tension, mineral deposits from hard water, and ageing can cause heater elements to deteriorate over time.
Signs indicating the need for heater element replacement include insufficient heating, prolonged drying times, inadequate heat production, cold spots on clothing or the drum, visible damage (burn marks, breaks, or corrosion) on the elements, and a malfunctioning thermostat affecting temperature regulation.
This heater element is a genuine Beko tumble dryer replacement part. It also fits Blomberg and Grundig tumble dryers. Use our compatibility checker to see if this part fits your model.

I was able to buy this item in confidence as the photo showed exactly the same part as my suspect heater. It came quickly and was easy to fit. Moreover it cured the problem!
Straight forward to fit, seems to be good quality time will tell, only had it a couple of weeks so can’t really rate it.
Works perfectly and was easy to install. Saved us from having to buy a new dryer!
