This belt drives the motor of the dryer, rotating the drum, and if it is broken, the dryer cannot work. We offer a genuine replacement driver belt, manufactured by Zanussi. Tumble dryer belt

Very suitable for the machine. Shame the cost of the postage was rather disproportionate to the item cost itself. Had an initial problem with the fit but can't thank Jack enough at 'customer services' for sorting out, perfect.
Replacement for shredded belt

Our tumble dry had developed some noise that were not normal to the point where I had to dismantle it to investigate. It quickly became evident that some of the noise was coming from the belt which whilst was still in one piece, had started to shred itself and was flapping against the casing. Before I started to dismantle, I checked the drum for anything abnormal, and it seemed like there were some bearings that were not as smooth as they should be. This was confirmed after I had stripped it down and could remove the drum support rollers - the bearings were very dry, had play in them and were noisy when spun by hand. Replacement was simple, followed by the belt and general re-assembly. Now all working fine. Overall very pleased with the parts and service from Ransom Spares.
