Revived our old Creda Tumble Dryer

Our Tumble dryer we thought was in its last legs as it suddenly developed a loud banging noise, after looking at the back of the machine we found it was the common problem, the bearing which holds the back of the drum had completely worn through so it was just sitting literally on the casing. This kit was really easy to fit, the only fiddly thing was drilling out the old rivets that hold the square bearing, and fitting the new rivets (these are supplied in the kit) you just need a hand held riveting gun which you can get from a very well known online shopping website. 😁 The machine is now running better than it has done for years! that old bearing must have been on its last legs for ages as its now really quiet. 😁 With the right to repair law just coming in recently this has definitely saved us all hundreds for a new machine which would have been the case if this kit wasn't available. A fantastic bit of kit.
Comprehensive repair kit

Really good, cost effective repair kit as it includes all you could possibly need to repair the drum spindle. Getting to it takes some time effort and space but the instructions are straightforward and all you need, other than tools and time is included. Thoroughly recommend.

ordered this for my 11 yr old tumble dryer, as the shaft had broken was easy to fit only problem i had was the square bearing was the wrong one so ordered the correct one no problems.

A really good kit, all the parts you need to replace the bearing , shaft & bearing housing. A rather fiddly job as the whole tumble dryer needs dismantling but take your time, note which screws went where and it's quite easy. Don't forget to put the belt back round the drum BEFORE reassembling the casing! You will need a pop riveting tool.

What a great product, when I saw all the parts it looked a bit bewildering. you do need to be very practical. not for the faint hearted, I did not think I needed all of these parts, but thank goodness for them because you do. You will need a rivet gun. cost of the parts and the rivet gun a lot cheaper than a new tumble dryer.
