AEG Tumble Dryer Temperature Probe NTC3792171203

The moment I opened the jiffy bag and saw the sleek lines of this NTC, I fell head over heels in love with it. This little baby comes in at around 6000 Ohms at 21 degrees C and includes a spacious yet practical two-pronged electronic connector socket at the rear. Although it lacks luxury and style, this product has been marketed by AEG/Electrolux as a pure probe for the day-to-day domestic washing machine system. Its large metal shaft feels raw and phenomenal to hold and thanks to its incredibly low weight this NTC probe is easy to handle and manoeuvre into position. You can tell just by touching it that there's phenomenal thermal conductivity and so fantastic responsiveness to ambient temperature. Since being plumbed into the rubber gaiter between my washing machine's drum and plastic condenser unit, this NTC has been reliably feeding a Zanussi PCB with accurate temperature measurements quite literally for a matter of minutes. Take that error code E73! At £11.95 this NTC probe offers fantastic value and is quite possibly the best washing machine NTC probe I have ever purchased. If you don't believe me, then you will just have to buy one yourself so that you too can marvel at this magnificent feat of electronic engineering.

My AEG T59830 dryer had an error E70 referred to an NTC Probe-malfunction. This small part is pretty expensive (I found the best offer on this website, btw), but essential for (good) working. Delivery was really fast to Middle-East-Europe. Changing the probe is not difficult at all, you need to remove the upper and left-side cover, unplug some wires then release the spring that holds the probe in the right position, thats all. It works perfectly so far.

The part and all fit and I am nearly satisfied. I just miss a package with white grease.
