| E52 | AEG | Means the motor overheating safety cut out has been triggered, stopping the cycle or the drum. It is usually caused by a worn motor carbon brush, a faulty motor, a faulty control board, or restricted airflow. | High |
| E54 | AEG | Means a motor control problem, with high current, a motor relay fault, or a communication failure between the control board and the drive motor. It is usually caused by a faulty motor relay, the drive motor, or the control board. | High |

General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your tumble dryer.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains before you start.
This is a genuine tumble dryer drive belt. Measures 1971 mm long.
It powers the drum to tumble and spin your clothes just right, while the belt keeps everything moving smoothly for fresh, clean laundry.
If you notice loud squealing or screeching sounds during the wash or spin cycle, or if the drum spins slowly, unevenly, or stops altogether, it’s a sign that it’s time to replace this part with this new one.
This tumble dryer drive belt is from AEG. It also fits the list of brands mentioned above.
Before ordering, please verify that this fits your model using our compatibility checker.
Exactly as described. Fitting was straight forward with help from YouTube and some common sense.
Our tumble dryer snapped its drive belt. It was easy to find the correct replacement part at Ransom. The part was shipped quickly and arrived within a couple of days. There's a lot to dismantle to fit one of these, but we took the opportunity for a thorough clean inside the tumble dryer. All went well - good as new now!
One quick review of YouTube on how to get the belt fitted to my make of machine and it was as simple as that. If your unsure of where everything came from take plenty of pictures as you go and then reverse the process. Definitely not as intimidating as first thought.
The belt was great quality, but let down with royal mail's 48 hr delivery. Took over a week to arrive.
Replacement belt for Zanussi dryer. Bit of a pain to fit as needed new jockey wheel as well but been in use for 6 months with no issues.
