This is a genuine door hinge for your tumble dryer door. Made of plastic and has holes to fit as a mounting point for screws for installation.
The door hinge gets your dryer door to swing open while still attached to the door frame. No sticking or binding as you open and close your door so you can bring in and take out your laundry with ease.
Makes sure the dryer door is fastened to the dryer cabinet when it's in use.

Quality Product, easy to fit.
The door hinge is exactly what I needed to repair my AEG Tumble Dryer. Easy to fit, needed a star head screw driver, but took only 15 minutes and the Dryer was back up and running, not need to call an expensive repair man :-)

Perfect for the repair
The product is robust, it arrived quickly and was straighforward enough for me to replace the original broken door hinge on the tumble drier. This has saved me having to replace the drier at a cost of several hundreds of pounds.

Exactly the right part!
Had a bit of a panic that the door hinge I needed was showing as no longer available on the AEG website! The tumble dryer is 10 years old! Managed to trace the part to Ransom Spares via the part number and fingers crossed that it fitted - it did. There was a slight fault in the casting in that one of the hinge holes was slightly blocked but this was easy to clear by pushing a screwdriver through. Other than that was easy to replace. Six Torx screws holding the hinge and door. Existing pin holding the hinge had to be pushed out and reused but not hard to take out and push into new hinge. Exact AEG model I have is T86580IH

Didn't arrive in an AEG bag, so assume an aftermarket item, but nevertheless an easy fit replacement for the broken hinge - AEG no longer supply just the hinge, but state that the front inner cover assembly needs to be replaced, I'm presuming as they have modified the hinge design, which fits differently hence requires a modified cover at £48. Didn't want to replace more than was essential, so this was the ideal solution.
