Error codes are model dependent, so the same brand may have more than one listed.
| Code | Brand | What it means | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| E50 | AEG | Means a motor, motor control board, or wiring fault, where the motor cannot start. It is usually caused by a faulty start capacitor, worn carbon brushes, or a defective control board. | High |
| E52 | AEG | Means the motor overheating safety cut out has been triggered, stopping the cycle or the drum. It is usually caused by a worn motor carbon brush, a faulty motor, a faulty control board, or restricted airflow. | High |
| E54 | AEG | Means a motor control problem, with high current, a motor relay fault, or a communication failure between the control board and the drive motor. It is usually caused by a faulty motor relay, the drive motor, or the control board. | High |
| E15 | Electrolux | Means the motor cannot start, has overheated, or is severely overloaded so the drum is too heavy to turn. It is usually caused by a motor fault or restricted airflow from blocked lint filters. | High |
| E50 | Electrolux | Means there is a motor or software fault that often prevents the drum from spinning. It is usually caused by a broken drive belt, a faulty motor, a failed capacitor, or a motor control board issue. | High |
| E50 | Zanussi | Means a motor or electronic control board fault preventing the drum from rotating correctly. It is usually caused by a failed motor capacitor, worn motor brushes, wiring issues, or the drive belt. | High |
| E52 | Zanussi | Means a motor circuit fault or motor overheating, with the control board no longer detecting movement from the motor. It is usually caused by worn carbon brushes, a failed tacho coil, or a faulty motor. | High |
| E53 | Zanussi | Means a fault in the motor driving circuit, with a communication error signalled between the motor and the control board. It is usually caused by a failure of the motor triac on the main control board, a faulty motor centrifugal switch, or related wiring issues. | High |
| E54 | Zanussi | Means a motor-related fault, with the motor inoperative because of a control board issue, wiring fault, or seized component. It is usually caused by a failed motor relay on the PCB, a faulty start capacitor, or a worn-out motor. | High |

General fitting guidance. The exact steps can vary slightly with the make and model of your tumble dryer.
Safety: Switch off and unplug at the mains before you start.
When you turn on the dryer, the motor activates and starts to rotate. The belt wrapped around both the motor pulley and the drum pulley serves as a connection between both.
The belt transfers rotational energy from the engine to the drum, which causes the drum to spin.
Any screeching or squealing sounds it makes while operating, excessive vibrations, or a drum that spins unevenly or not at all could all be signs of a broken belt.
Visual signs of wear and strain, such as fraying, cracking, or stretching, might be found. Replace the belt if any of these are present to return your dryer back to normal operation.
It's quite simple. Refer to our video tutorial below on how to fit a tumble dryer belt.
This belt is a genuine AEG tumble dryer replacement part. It also fits AEG, Arthur Martin, Atlas, Bellavita, Bluesky, Castor, Corbero, Curtiss, Electra, Electrolux, Elektra, Elektro Helios, Faure, Fors, Frigidaire, Horn, Husqvarna, Husqvarna Electrolux, John Lewis, Kuppersbusch, Listo, Lloyds, Marijnen, Matura, New Pol, Norland, Novamatic, Philco, Primotecq, Privileg, Progress, Proline, Rex, Rosenlew, Satrap, Selecline, Silentic, Therma, Tricity, Tricity Bendix, Wyss, Zanker, Zanussi, Zoppas tumble dryers.

The tumble dryer belt arrived in good time and excellent condition. It was exactly as described on the website and has worked perfectly sine being fitted.
Robust belt, easy to fit. Saved me a fortune replacing dryer
Very suitable for the machine. Shame the cost of the postage was rather disproportionate to the item cost itself. Had an initial problem with the fit but can't thank Jack enough at 'customer services' for sorting out, perfect.
Our tumble dry had developed some noise that were not normal to the point where I had to dismantle it to investigate. It quickly became evident that some of the noise was coming from the belt which whilst was still in one piece, had started to shred itself and was flapping against the casing. Before I started to dismantle, I checked the drum for anything abnormal, and it seemed like there were some bearings that were not as smooth as they should be. This was confirmed after I had stripped it down and could remove the drum support rollers - the bearings were very dry, had play in them and were noisy when spun by hand. Replacement was simple, followed by the belt and general re-assembly. Now all working fine. Overall very pleased with the parts and service from Ransom Spares.
Great . Fitted in no time. Just follow you tube video.
Is this belt to be placed on the outer rim of the dryer door or the inner rim?
Hi Adi, this belt goes around the drum.
Are these belts hard to change what is the best steps to change belt.
Hi Philip, we have a video on the site showing how to replace a tumble dryer belt. I'd recommend watching this video for an idea of what needs to be done.
Can you tell me what 1975 H7 and 1975 H mean please?
Hi Peter, 1975 is the total length of the belt and the H stands for the ply rating.
