Can be a little fiddly to fit until you realise it is slightly flexible so can be gently bent to slide into place and the spring then located/engaged. A cheap but important component as the line will not auto-feed without it or if it becomes worn.

I have not had opportunity to fit as item was on back order but expect that it will do the job at a price I can afford

My grass trimmer wire was not auto feeding at all. I thought it was broken and would need a whole new machine. Started to look up what the problem might be and found someone who said the same as me. He bought this Flymo trimmer feed line and it fixed his problems. So I thought I'd give it a try, as the spare part was a lot cheaper then a new grass trimmer. It was a little fiddly to fit but was really worth it. My grass trimmer works like new! Thanks Ransom.

Thanks Ransom for stocking this little part. could not find this locally. Was told just to buy a new machine - rather than sourcing a little bit of plastic that stops the spool from unravelling. Needless to say I'm happy that the whole machine was not thrown for want of a 10g piece of plastic! Thanks Ransom Spares - please open a shop in Sydney !

Good delivery time. Cheap in price but not in quality. Compared it with the original from Flymo and appears just as strong and well made. Easy to fit, just take care with the spring.
