The Auto-mower came supplied with 200 metres of insulated solid copper wire in 2014. This wire is pegged onto the ground to form a perimeter wire which limits the roaming range of the auto sensing mower. I decided to extend the range of the mower around the paths of the vegetable garden. The price of a new reel from Husqvarna, via Ransom's, was comparable and did away with the quality problem - important because after a couple of months the wire has been swallowed into the ground.
