We decided to go for original Bosch parts - although more expensive, the lovely man who fitted it said that he normally uses cheaper brushes, but they have to be filed down to fit. These went in first time. Thanks.

Worth paying extra for OEM brushes
I originally bought the cheaper version of these brushes. However, due to my rough treatment trying to fit them, the connecting wire came off the brush. I decided it is impossible to fit the brushes on my machine without removing the motor, as shown in the Ransome's video, and I felt that the fact that the cheaper ones had broken, admittedly due to my fault, indicated it would be worth spending the extra on OEM brushes. They are better made and while I am sure the cheap ones would work, why not spend the £15 extra when you are saving £500 on a new machine.

Great product
Thanks to the website being set up in a way that was easy to find the part we needed. The item was exactly what we needed and was delivered on time. The videos on the website also helped tremendously by giving us clear guidance as to how to access the bit and replace the old item with new!

BOSCH WASHING MACHINE BRUSHES
Great product and at a great price also fast delivery . I have used Ramson Spares a few times now. The web site is easy to use and if cant find the part you are looking for you can send them a email and Ramson will find it for you. The brushes for my BOSCH washing machine are a wee bit fiddly to fit due to having to feed the spring into the locating hole making sure you take note on what way the old one,s were facing when they were removed. Once the brushes are fitted my machine was good as new.

New Brushes Revive Washing Machine
10 year old Siemens washing machine drum stopped rotating, but all else seemed to work OK. Research on the web made me think the brushes were worn, as I had already checked the fan belt. I ordered the original part, watched the video on Ransom Spares, and fitted the brushes. All works OK for now!! The brushes are of the carbon brush and spring variety which makes them fiddly to feed into the slot to fit. However, I managed it in the end.

Got my washing machine working again
A lot pricier than non-genuine parts but I didn’t want to take any chances. After fitting these brushes with the help of online videos, and then some trial end error to cancel the fault code, my machine is up and running again to give me many more years of service hopefully.

Quality genuine product (recommended over "equivalent" or "compatible" parts)
Decided I needed genuine replacement brushes for my Bosch washing machine as "compatible" brushes fitted only a few months previously had let me down. Went searching on the web and RansomSpares came up trumps - best price and promptly despatched. The brushes, although a bit fiddly to fit (as regards the springs), are now operational as is the washing machine. If these last as long as the originals then that's good enough for me. Thank you RansomSpares! P.S. The quality of these genuine parts is evidently superior to "compatible" or "equivalent" brushes. So I've learned my lesson there.

Recommended spare part
These original carbon brushes are exactly as describeed and easy to fit for the average diy person. (There is an online video that shows you exactly whats involved). Although slightly pricey, they fitted perfectly 1st time with no problems at all which you may not get with cheaper compatible parts.

Not living in the UK now but still use Ransom, Store staff very helpfull with v good knowledge of most things, some of my bits I need dont come up with uk part numbers, but you can cross referance with a little help. Very good for me. Thanks

Genuine Bosch items, work just like new
Great items though more expensive than cheaper non-genuine parts available elsewhere but if they last as long as the original items (12 yrs) it's fantastic value for money. Bushes just slid in perfectly however a bit fiddly getting the springs to stay put once compressed down but managed okay. Once fitted and switched on they actually sounded quieter than original ones and the operation is like when the washer was new - amazed how cheap to DIY compared to calling someone out - thanks!
