Saved from expensive call out.
Washing machine door handle broke. Ordered a new part from this excellent site and paid for next day delivery. Part arrived and my other half was able to figure out how to fit it to the door by using a YouTube video. Job done for much cheaper than calling out an engineer. Win win

Quality product
Original Manufacturers part at significant discount to that charged on Hotpoint. Pain to fit but that’s due to the design of the washing machine, having to dismantle the whole door to access the handle, rather than the part Would be my first point of call for any future spares needs!

Good product easy to fit
Paid for express delivery on Good Friday, unfortunately wasn’t dispatched until the following Tuesday instead of on Saturday so would have been good to get it delivered sooner, however when it arrived it did the job and with the help of YouTube videos from another spare part website I could fit it easily.

Door handle

original part , handle assembly
first ,the part was an original item which is worth the extra expense, as the quality is superior to identical but not as good pattern parts, fitting is relatively easy for somebody with a modicum of mechanical fitting experience, further disassembly of washing machine is required to remove and replace this item, including removal of top cover and release of door from the inside as it will not be possible to open door from the outside due to broken lock, complete door will need to be removed and replacement lock fitted before reinstating assembly to washing machine

Door Handle opens door
Old door handle hinge broke - apparently a common issue. New part arrived quickly and easy to fit. No more using string to open the door like a car thief.
