All new fixings supplied and simple fitting
I am retired Electrical Engineer and fix domestic appliances and machinery for friends and family as a hobby. One of the most common problems I get is "My Henry won't work". These parts almost always fix the problem, which 9 times out of 10 (if it isn't the two speed PCB on older models), is these brass contacts wearing out. The parts themselves are trivially easy and quick to fit by drilling out the old rivets and re-fixing with supplied bolts and captive nuts. Top product at very good price.

Henry is working again !
Henry just kept starting/stopping. After investigating I traced it to worn out spring contacts. Contacted the makers who gave me the part number of the new modified parts. Ordered via Ransom’s. Delivered two days later. Parts were a perfect fit and within 20 mins Henry was up and running again.

Great value and excellent service.
As others have said you will need to drill out the small rivet type original fitting and replace it with the supplied screw/bolts but it's very easy to do and quite obvious when you have all the parts in front of you. Excellent service too. I ordered the parts whilst on holiday in Hungary and received them there within five days!

Vacuum Spring Contacts for Hoover Henry
Parts easy to fit once I realised that the remains of the broken springs needed to be either ground or drilled out. The nuts and bolts included as part of the kit replaced the original fixings. Henry as good as new.

Brilliant Kit
This contact kit was very favourably priced, was simple to fit and restored a dead Henry to full working order in return for about 15 minutes work. Excellent value!

Good value fix
The Henry stops when these brushes wear and break after 10 years or so . The official fix is to replace the whole plastic plate which I think is about £15. Just replacing these contacts is relatively easy if you can drill out the rivets and have screwdrivers. The kit contains spacing collars so the brushes locate accurately when they are bolted in. Dismantling the Henry to do the repair involves undoing just 8 screws and it all goes back together again without risk of broken clips or missing fiddly bits. Henrys use solid materials and are simply put together. The kit comes without instructions but to be fair, if you need the repair explaining in detail then you probably should be going to a professional repair man. I was very pleased with the delivery time on this, I live in France and the package was in my mailbox 4 days after I ordered it.
