Perfect for Acorn Type 146M Cooker Hood
Replacing the cooker hood filters is not a frequent job. I will probably be quicker doing it next time. I may have taken the hood apart more than necessary, but I had to see the alignment arrows to get the new filter in the correct place. Fiddly, but the job is done.

Great solution - just fit it and smile
Carbon filter arrived at same time as the grease filter (separate order) so I was able to fit both after I had decreased the whole unit (hadn’t been done for a few years - tenants!!!!) Extractor now looks brilliant and the room doesn’t smell 😜.

Wonderful in every way
I was pleased to find Ransom Spares had this filter I required to replace the old one; in my very old cooker hood. The easy of ordering was simple. The price no more than I expected, and the delivery couldn't have been quicker. Excellent firm all round, I will certainly be using Ransoms again in the future.

The new unit that arrived was slightly different from that shown on the web site, not having the full depth compartment of charcoal particles, but instead half the depth with a filter membrane on the back. However, at a little over £10, I can't be too picky about like for like replacement. It still fit perfectly in my appliance.

Great service
I did not think I could still get a replacement filter for an old cooker hood so was encouraged when I found this on Ransom's website. Decided to order one and see if it would fit. Price was not prohibitive either. The item was despatched on the day I ordered it and arrived a couple of days later. Very efficient. I was sent an email when the order was despatched. The filter fitted exactly so I am very pleased. The whole process was dealt with smoothly and I would recommend Ransom Spares.
