part is good quality but no give in the rubber. might eaze off when used.and drain holes not as big as the original one

Door Seal
The item fitted perfectly, before fitting I looked at the instructional video on the web site. This was extremely helpful and made fitting far easier.

Changed seal just in case...
Had to change the springs as they had broken, this made a mess of the door seal so I changed that just in case of a leak as well. Easy as pie to fit. Thanks Ransom for a quick delivery.

Door Seal
Good match with original. Seal works fine. Easier to fit than videos indicate. I found this easy to fit without lubrication except for the final outer clamp which in this case was a metal wire with plastic clip to hold the ends and this needed some lubrication to allow the ends to move close enogh for the clip to fit.

great product
Ordered the seal with ease and it was despatched quickly. I must admit it wasn't the easiest thing to fix to the machine. It was fiddly and the hard to fix to the drum but we persevered and eventually we won. An excellent product and the machine is now working good as new. I would not hesitate to order more replacement parts from Ransoms. Thank you.

Genuine Hotpoint Spare
Could not be more pleased, I was half expecting a pattern copy but turned out to be genuine Hotpoint. As with all door seals it is not easy to fit unless you first lubricate with silicone grease where it attaches to the tub and front panel. Seal works perfectly.

Great product, easy to fit
After watching HOW TO FIT A DOOR SEAL on the internet, I ordered the correct item from Ransom Spares . I tackled the job and 1 hour later the new door seal was installed. Some care is needed to tighten the seal clamps but so far no leaks.

Great product, slightly awkward to fit
Easy to order, arrived very quickly. Slightly awkward to fit as no instructions with it. But after checking out the existing seal it was straight forward.
