A bit fiddly - bit works
I had to flip the motor from one end to the other which was a bit annoying but not too difficult. Other than that it was straight-forward. Just remember that you have to flip the axles inserts on the fan blade AND the motor or else the fan will draw-in air from the front instead of expel it! (The logical words to use here are "banned" on this message board :) ) Can't fault the delivery or service from Ransom Spares. Equivalent fans are three-times the price elsewhere so canot grumble.

Fitted in minutes
Cooling fan failed and so oven would turn off when hot. Found this for a cdt cooker and was the wrong orientation but swapped it around and it works a charm. Saved buying a new cooker . Will bookmark this company for future needs

this cooling fan is better quality than original plastic fan as fitted to cda oven it was fitted in minutes. very good

Great product, easy to fit
The fan was easy to install just as shown on the video. The oven runs very quietly, should have changed the fan sooner.

Great Price & Easy To Fit!
The fan arrived within 2 days of ordering.After a little adjustment to the motor on the side(a 90 degree turn to enable my wires to fit on my Kenwood cooker) the part was fitted and running within 15 minutes.It saved me a lot of money by not needing a professional and was very happy with the service.For the record,to adjust the motor I straightened 4 retaining tabs,turned the motor 90 degrees,relocated the motor and pushed the tabs flat.Hope this helps.

Cost effective solution
Good value for money. To fit a Capel oven the end had to be rotated 90 degrees. Easy to do and no tools required, a diagram showing how to do this would have been a nice addition. Quiet in use.

Did exactly what was expected
Part arrived on time and in good condition. Had to re-align the motor wrt the fan blades which was a bit fiddly. Otherwise no issues.

Cooling Fan
I ordered the cooling fan for my oven from the ransom spares web site which as a first time customer and browser I found very good and easy to use. After finding the part I ordered it and it came Two days later which was excellent. I fitted the part to my oven very easily and low and behold it worked perfectly. Good JOB

Ordering and fitting replacement spares
Ransom spares came to the rescue again, the Prestige cooker cooling fan has began breaking down again with dry bearings and screeching sounds when the cooker is hot and as usual Christmas holidays are looming too, so ordered a replacement cooling fan which can be easily fitted by a competent person with gas fitting and electrical experience. If the part was ordered locally would cost twice the mount and three times the same amount to fit it. Order to delivery took just 5 days and readly to be fitted before Christmas giving the cooker a present too, lol.

Universal Part, but worth it
Received swiftly, and once oven accessed the fan was easy to replace. As many have said previously, the motor is mounted at 180deg to that required by a Kenwood oven. No probs, just flatten the two holding lugs, rotate motor and use alternate lugs to fix motor in new orientation. Initially whisper quiet, but now it is fractionally noisier but no where like the fan it replaced. Definitely worth it and so easy to fit.

Worked perfectly
The only problem when installing was that I had to turn the motor 180 degrees as the terminals were the wrong side. Ordering and delivery was easy, good job the fan was well wrapped as the postman dropped it. Overall excellent service.

Very good value, excellent product
Fitted to model cda 906 As this is a universal fitting motor I had to turn the motor a full 180 degrees , this is a very simple procedure, look for a metal tab which has been bent out , this locks the motor in place. Straighten this tab, this will allow the motor to be rotated once you have turned the motor bend tab back into place . The fan assembly is now ready to be fitted. Cannot fault product very quite excellent value
