Great product, easy to fit - once you work out how!
No problem with delivery, the product or its performance, all really good. Whilst a 5* rating could easily have been awarded, my gripe is that the fan came without any form of instructions, particularly an indication that the motor was reversible and could be switched from one end of the fan to the other. Some thinking outside the square (that took longer than maybe it should have done) resolved the issue however.

Perfect fit
Cooling fan on AEG oven needed replacing. Ordering was simple using OEM part no. Fan delivered within time expected and only needed the orientation of the motor moving through 90 degrees to avoid fouling oven panel (simple job as the product is designed allow for this). Even the pilot holes for the self-tapping screws lined up perfectly. Very satisfied customer (and wife).

Good Replacement For The OEM part
Seemed well engineered and was easy to fit, with all screw holes lining up perfectly. Also is doing its intended job of cooling very well. The truth will be in its longevity, so early days yet.

Problem solvedc
Bought this product as my AEG oven had an annoying hum and figured it was the fan motor. It was delivered very quickly and was fitted more or less straight away. The one issue I had between this and the AEG original is that the motor coil obscures some of the screen how to attach it to the oven. However a bit of fiddling with it and now it's in and working great....no hums any more so all good :-)

VFM replacement
Ordered on line and collected from the warehouse the same day. At £45 less than the OEM part it was great value and fitment was a direct replacement with no modification. The holes and electrical connections aligned perfectly. Saved my son a large oven repair bill!

cooling fan
almost an exact copy of the original, easy to fit and good value. our cooker is back to normal. I don't know why i have waited so long to replace. Great service many thanks

Oven cooling fan
The product arrived in the time promised , was easy to fit although the predrillred screw holes were rather small and the screws couldn't start. Opened them up and it was fitted. Excellant job and nice and quiet.

had to be adapted but no problem
got this for a candy oven - but the candy part is obsolete, had to do a minor adaption (i'm an electrician - so not a problem), worked well and saved replacing the oven - which was another option

Oven cooling fan
Originally I thought I had received the wrong part.This was only discovered after I had taken the oven and started to dismantle it. Contacted Ransoms by e-mail to organise purchase of original spare. Got a phone call from Ransom that explained how I could modify the part to fit. Easily done when you know how! A lot cheaper than other offers on line.

great product easy fit took 5 mins
removed back cover removed the 4 holding screws and two crimps took me aprox 5 mins to fit total time 15 mins from removal of cooker to refit great no more fan wining noise my lovely wife very happy what more can i say great product and great video of replacing cooling fan motor well done Ransoms

Silence is golden!
Previous fan was noisy and a spot of Internet diagnosis led to it being the cooling fan. Shopped around online and Ransom Spares was half the price of their competitors. Was a bit nervous as hadn't used them before, but ordered anyway. Was pleased i took the plunge. Item arrived promptly and is a good fit; slight issue with the screw holes not quite aligning which is why it only gets 4 stars for quality, but it'si done the job nicely and the oven is silent again. Fitting took about 25 mins: from removing the oven from its housing, removing all wires and top covers, removing the old fan (it's screwed in with about 4 screws and two spade connectors), then reversing the process to fit the new one. Anyone who can hold a screwdriver can do it! Tis was to fit an AEG oven but this fan fits several other models too. Would recommend both the fan and Ransom Spares, and I'm better off by the price of the item just for shopping around!
