Tumble dryer jockey wheel
The belt tensioning jockey wheel turned up in good time quicker than quoted and after fitting works perfectly.

Correct part
Part was the correct one and easy to fit. Previous repair I did on this drier (new belt) was much harder ----you have to dismantle the whole thing. The jockey pulley had failed due to lack of lubrication. Good idea to grease this and the back drum bearing anytime you have the machine apart. Also the front rollers if you ever have the drum out.

Perfect fit, good value

Better than original component
My AEG tumble dryer stopped spinning. I assumed that it was a broken belt. Actually the problem was that the OEM jockey wheel internal bore was destroyed. The OEM part had no metal insert to limit wear. The replacement part supplied here has a metal sleeve and should be longer lasting.

Just what the Doctor ordered
I hadn’t realised how bad this part was until it disintegrated. I’d even started to look at a replacement tumble dryer. So I took the top and side off, spotted the problem and went on line. Ransom Spares were very competitive, kept me up to speed with shipment and the part was with me in 2 days. To replace the drive belt tension pulley wasn’t brain surgery and well within the capacity of the average DIYer. The machine is now so quiet compared to what it had been, that my wife didn’t realise it was fixed. Thank you Ransom Spares for a nice saving.

Perfect replacement
As original, however only gripe is that there is nothing on the website to show which way round it went on the spindle (old one melted so couldn't see which side was which) and when I phoned customer services I was advised that they no longer had a technician available to help with customer enquiries.

AEG Tumble Dryer Belt Tentioner
This part broke on my dryer in the middle of a drying cycle leaving the cloths wet with no means of drying them on the day as it was raining heavily. I ordered the part from Ransome spares and paid extra for next day delivery. Fitting was straight forward and took 1 and a half hours. The machine has now a new lease of life.
