Great product and easy to fit
I ordered the Flymo part as I didn’t want to have to buy a new lawnmower. The ability to buy an essential part of my lawnmower from ransom spares saved me money and my lawnmower is now working perfectly

Good quality product
The part supplied was indeed good quality but the design is slightly different to the one on my mower. As an electrician I am sure I will be able to adapt this part.

Multomo 360 XC Switch Box
Very qick service. Original Flymo spare parts which were exactly as requested. Fitting was a simple task. At £16 including P&P it is far cheaper than a replacement mower.

Straightforward to fit
This genuine Flymo spare part was straightforward to fit. It arrived earlier than expected too. The longest job was cleaning out the motor housing of years of accumulated grass particles that find their way in there. The only tools needed were a screwdriver and pliers, used to pull off the old electrical connectors. It was interesting to see how Flymo designed the cable run and fastenings inside the mower body. At this price it was easier and quicker to replace the whole assembly rather than fiddle with the alternatives. It was only £4 more to do this. The mower is back in action and, with a new blade too, is working well.

Flymo Replacement
I bought this part as the actual replacement part for my 6 year old Flymo Lawn rake is no longer available. However upon receipt I discovered the only difference between this part and the original is that the screw terminals on the original had been replaced by crimped wire sockets. So after a very minor alteration I was able to fit the replacement part and get the machine working again. At less than £13 for the part it was a lot cheaper than taking my machine in somewhere to have it checked out which would have incurred a minimum inspection fee of £30 prior to the cost of parts and fitting. So if your flymo lawn rake fails to start and you’ve checked your cables out I would recommend you try this part to see if it fixes the problem.

Easy to Fit
I first checked the manufacturers website for the part I needed to replace. Using the make of mower and the exact model, Ransom Spares took me straight to the replacement part I required. The part arrived within the delivery time quoted and was well protected in the packaging. It was straightforward to fit. The mower is now back in regular use.

Good value fix
Unsure where the fault lay, I thought at 15 quid it was worth a risk. Couldn't source a switch or capacitor separately, so went for the entire housing. Turned out I was right, it was the switch. Easy to fit, if it was for the model I'd chosen. But after cutting, splicing, adding and taking away I'd made the handle using the old levers, new switch components,old housing, new cables.

Straightforward replacement
my control switch was working intermittently. having found this part, it looked like an easy change. And it was. just needing a philips screwdriver and some pliers to pull the electrical tabs of the blades at the motor. all in all less than 10 minute job. it would have been quicker if i hadnt taken a few minutes to clear crass cutting from around the motor. Just 1 thing, keep the 2 screws holding the handle to the frame as the new handle isnt supplied with these.
