Easy to Fit
Very straight forward to fit, don’t know why I waited so long to replace one broken handle!

Great Switch Box
Great product and fitted the lawnmower handle perfectly. Only gripe was the two screws that fasten the box to the handle were not supplied so had to use old rusty ones and the spade connectors on the cable end were to small and had to be cut off and replaced with a slightly larger one, to fit the connector on the motor. For the price well worth it.

Great product, annoying to fit
This is a great quality part, the cable is far too long but it is terminated with the correct push connectors. It is a design fault with the motor that the live terminal is out of sight and almost impossible to get to if you have large hands, you have to cut away a small part of the plastic cover to reach it, or dismantle the mower down completely, cutting is easier. When connected it works exactly the same as the original, can't fault the quality for the price and when the top cover is replaced you can't see the cut.

EAST TO FIT TO FLYMO COMPACT 380 VISION
I received the switch box assembly very quickly and it was very easy to fit. The cable is a bit longer than the original which is not a problem and you need to re-use the two original fixing screws. My Flymo model is TCV 380, Product No. 9633516-01.

Nice product, not totally compatible
Bought unit as a replacement for my Flymo Ventura 32. Couldn't use it as supplied because the orange switch levers were longer than the originals and would not fit between the black uprights. Transferred the original pair of orange levers and now all fine.

Keep the old screws
When fitting the cable, first work from the motor end and work backwards towards the handle. This avoids having execess cable at the motor end which in turn can get caught in the Plastic motor canopy when refitting. Pros: Relatively easy to fit, longer cable than original. Cons: Fixing screws not supplied? Flymo too tight fist*d to provide tuppence worth of two screws. Remove old screws carefully and retain. Summary: easy to fit but let down by lack of fixing screws that should have been supplied in the first instance.

Vital spare part, neasy to fit
My previous switch box had become worn and the switch was working intermittently. This spare part sorted out the problem and was very easy to fit - especially given the video on the Flymo website which demonstrated how this was done admirably.

I would like to order this switch box assembly when it is available to modify my old TC300 hover mower. Does it come with the special bolts that clamp it to the cross tube of the mower.? I realise that I may have to modify the cross tube if it is not the correct diameter.
