How does your lawnmower's clamping lever operate?
The mower deck's cutting height is changed via a clamping lever. When it's firmly fastened in a certain position, it enables the operator to establish the required cutting height using the height adjustment mechanism.
The clamping mechanism is released when the lever is pressed up or down, allowing the user to change the deck height up or down as necessary. Release of the lever engages the clamping mechanism once more, locking the deck in place once the required height has been reached.
What damages the clamping lever?
The clamping lever of a lawnmower can be damaged by wear and tear, excessive force or pressure, and exposure to harsh conditions. Repeated use and friction can cause the clamping lever to become loose, worn, or stripped and make it less effective in securing the wheels or other components.

Huge Cost Saving

GREAT PRODUCT EASY TO FIT
Bought this to replace lever on mower which had snapped after many years of use ,found it easy to fit once I had cleaned the wheel spindle of grime , be aware that you have to remove wheels from spindle to do this ,very easy end caps pop off with a screw driver then replace with light tap with a hammer. .Important thing to remember is on the old part there is a v shape clasp remove this and fit to replacement part other wise the part does not tighten up . Saved me on a costly repair , thanks guys will be using you for blades etc .

Great to find this part - the mower would’ve been scrap without it. A bit fiddly to fit - but that’s to do with the overall design, not the part itself. In the end, it didn’t take long and the mower was back up and running in minutes. Much better than having to buy a whole new mower - good price and speedy delivery - thank you!

Great cheap replacement
The cutting height adjustment lever broke on my mower, I looked online and ransom spares was the cheapest (£5 delivered), next option was around £8 The item arrived very quickly, and is a very good replacement. However, it did not come with the metal spring attached, so I had to take it off the broken part and fit it on (fairly straightforward but have to be quite firm when removing and remove-fitting old spring as it’s wedged-in) All in all very happy with the product
